Erdogan: I believe investigation into attack on Trump to be carried out in most effective way

"I believe that the investigation into the attack will be carried out as efficiently as possible, and the perpetrators and instigators will be brought to justice as soon as possible, so as not to cast a shadow on the US elections and global stability," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wrote on X, Report informs.

"I strongly condemn the assassination attempt on the 45th President of the United States and presidential candidate Donald Trump. I express my sincere wishes to Trump, his family and loved ones. As Türkiye, we will support the people of the United States as our friend and ally," Erdogan wrote.
