In the ten quake-hit provinces of Turkiye, education will continue in a distance form until the summer, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said during his visit to Diyarbakir, Report informs.
According to him, it is three times bigger and more destructive than the 1999 earthquake, which was the biggest disaster in the history of Turkiye:
At the same time, the earthquake that occurred on February 6 caused a disaster in a much wider area than the 1939 Erzincan earthquake. The destructiveness of this earthquake cannot be compared with the Cankiri, Canakkale, Gerede, Varto, Mudurnu, and Muradiye earthquakes above seven magnitudes.
