Türkiye is ready to host the Russia-Ukraine talks, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said speaking after the government meeting, according to Report.
The Turkish leader noted that he supports US President Donald Trump's efforts to end the war.
"As the only country that has gained the trust of all parties, we are ready to contribute to the discussions. We would be pleased to host the talks. We see that a new window of opportunity has opened with recent contacts. I hope that this time the opportunity will not be wasted," Erdogan said.
The president also pointed out that the parties were very close to peace in March 2022, but this did not happen due to the intervention of certain powers.
