Erdogan: By producing technologies, we are implementing goals of Türkiye’s Centenary concept

Türkiye independently develops technologies, produces aircraft, helicopters, satellites, tanks, missiles and other weapons, thereby achieving the goals of the Türkiye’s Centenary concept, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wrote on his Twitter page in connection with the project of the domestic fifth-generation military aircraft KAAN, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.

Erdogan reminded that the KAAN aircraft was presented to the public on May 1 at the TUSAS Aerospace Center in Ankara.

“Yesterday, a domestic KAAN aircraft was withdrawn from the hangar, in the creation of which certain forces did not believe. We also witnessed the results of other critically important defense projects in Türkiye. These are the Hürjet aircraft, the Atak-2 helicopter and the Anka-3 attack drone. Today, we don’t only produce planes, helicopters, satellites, tanks, missiles and other weapons. Our country is developing technologies and thereby implementing the goals of Türkiye’s Centenary concept,” the head of state wrote.

Erdogan quoted the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who paid special attention to aviation: “Sky is the future!”
