Erdogan, Bahceli to visit Hatay province

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the leader of the Turkish Nationalist Movement Party Devlet Bahceli are expected to visit the country's quake-hit Hatay province, Report informs via Yeni Şafak newspaper.

Erdogan and Bahceli will get acquainted with the situation in the disaster area and meet with earthquake victims.

On February 6, two strong earthquakes occurred in the southeast of Türkiye. The natural disaster caused massive destruction and thousands of deaths in Türkiye and neighboring Syria.

The death toll from the devastating earthquakes has reached 41,020 in Türkiye.
