President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed bilateral, regional, and global issues in a phone call with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to Report, citing the Directorate of Communications of the Turkish Presidency, President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of the progress achieved in direct talks between Ukraine and Russia in Istanbul.
He stated that they are ready to host a leaders’ summit and expressed his belief that the creation of working groups in the military, humanitarian, and political spheres would pave the way for such a summit.
Erdogan stressed that Türkiye continues to support Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
