Erdogan and al-Sharaa discuss situation in Syria

A telephone conversation took place between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Syrian counterpart Ahmed al-Sharaa, Report informs via Haber Global.
The leaders discussed the latest situation in Syria after Israel's attacks.
During the conversation, Erdogan stated that Israel's attacks on Syria are unacceptable, this creates a danger for the entire region, and Ankara, as before, will continue to provide support to the Syrian people.
Erdogan noted that Türkiye welcomed the ceasefire reached in Syria with the Druze.
Ahmed al-Sharaa expressed gratitude to Erdogan for his support in maintaining political unity in Syria, ensuring territorial integrity and protecting its sovereignty.
