Egyptian President to visit Türkiye for first time, meeting with Erdogan

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is set to visit Türkiye on September 4, Report informs via Haber Global.
During this visit, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The two leaders will preside over the Türkiye-Egypt High Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
Their discussions are expected to cover the Middle East situation, including Gaza, as well as other mutual interests. Several agreements are anticipated to be signed in various sectors.
This marks Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s first visit to Türkiye as president.
Notably, Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited Egypt on February 14, 2024, which contributed to a partial thaw in relations between the two nations.
