Sec.-Gen.: ECO Forum very important for discussing current problems of organization

The Economic Cooperation Organization summit is very important for discussing current problems of the organization, identifying new directions for its work, as well as creating new scenarios for further cooperation, Secretary-General of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Khusrav Noziri said, Report’s correspondent informs from Tashkent.

He noted that in order for the ECO to become a more integrated organization, it is necessary to solve the problem of low levels of investment and the lack of trade agreements among member countries.

The secretary-general added that the agreement on energy security among the ECO countries was signed only by Azerbaijan and Türkiye, and therefore called on other countries to also sign the agreement.
