EC allocates 25M euros to support Ukrainian refugee scientists

The European Commission (EC) has allocated 25 million euros to support Ukrainian scientists who have become refugees, said Sonya Gospodinova, EC spokesperson for internal market, defence industry and space, Report informs via TASS.

The European Commission has decided to allocate 25 million euros in grants for doctoral work and further research for people from Ukraine who have become refugees, she said.

Currently, according to the European Commission, about 5 million refugees from Ukraine have arrived in the EU.
