Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar met with his Polish counterpart Mariusz Błaszczak, Report informs, citing the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.
The meeting also discussed the export of Turkish-made UAVs to Poland. "These UAVs are very good," Polan minister said, adding that they would play a significant role in strengthening his country's defense system.
Speaking about the friendly and allied relations between the two countries, Akar noted: "We have a beneficial cooperation in terms of both the two countries and NATO."
On May 24, Polish President Andrzej Duda paid a visit to Ankara and met in private with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
According to the agreement inked during the visit, Turkey will export 24 UAVs to Poland. An agreement has been signed between the parties.
