The death toll from devastating earthquakes in Türkiye has risen to 50,500, Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu told journalists, Report informs via TRT Haber.
Two powerful earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 occurred in the southeast of Türkiye on February 6. Tremors led to destruction in neighboring countries, including Syria. The echoes of the earthquake reached the countries of Central Asia and the Middle East. Subsequently, the country was shaken by over 100,000 aftershocks.
