Death toll from Russia flood increases to six

Baku. 26 October. REPORT.AZ / The death toll from the flood in Kuban increased to six. Report informs citing TASS that the due statement was made by the Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of Russian Krasnodar region Sergey Kapustin.

According to him, four bodies were found during the inspection at the houses in Apsheronsky District.

Two victims were hospitalized, one received outpatient care. The fate of another person remains unknown.

Two dead and three injured were reported earlier as a result of heavy rains in Kuban.

A state of emergency was announced in Sochi.

Torrential rain on October 24 evening in Krasnodar Krai caused the flooding of more than 2,000 houses.. More than one and a half thousand houses were underflooded due to the powerful cyclone in Tuapse, Apsheronsky regions of Kuban, as well as in the Sochi city settlements
