The head of Dagestan, Vladimir Vasilyev, was hospitalized in Moscow, and his duties are performed by Artem Zdunov.
Report informs citing Interfax that the due information has been provided by the press service of the administration of the head and government of the republic.
"The head of Dagestan, Vladimir Vasiliev, is being treated in Moscow, where he was hospitalized with a diagnosis of pneumonia. For time of his absence, his duties of the head of the Republic of Dagestan were entrusted to the Chairman of the Government of the RD, Zdunov," the message said.
