CSTO to allocate funding to strengthen Tajik-Afghan border

The next meeting of the working group to develop the Targeted Interstate Program of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) to strengthen the Tajik-Afghan border will take place in early March. It must determine the amount of funds needed to strengthen the border and financing mechanisms, Viktor Vasilyev, ambassador-at-large for the CSTO at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, said.
Report informs via Russia media that, according to him, the proportions of distribution of expenses between all member states of the organization will be determined.
"Both the timing and the amount of funds required to implement this program will depend on this," he explained.
