Criminal case opened in Armenia against publicist who criticized government

A criminal case has been opened against Vahram Sahakyan, a satirist, publicist, and playwright known for his critical statements against the Armenian government, said Kima Avdalyan, the press secretary of the Investigation Committee chairman, Report informs via Armenian media,
The criminal case was opened under Article 329, Part 2, Clause 3 (propaganda of hatred, discrimination, and intolerance) of the Armenian Criminal Code.
The Investigation Committee does not disclose which specific statements by Sahakyan led to the opening of the criminal case.
