COVID-19 cases exceed 850 in Armenia

The number of those infected with COVID-19 increased by 20 people to 853 in Armenia, said the Health Minister Arsen Torosyan, Report informs citing Sputnik Armenia.
According to him, 8 of them are in extremely critical condition, 35 in critical condition.
So far, 8 people have died from coronavirus.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to 209 countries and territories since then.
To date, COVID-19 cases surpassed 1,348,000 globally, resulting in more than 74,795 deaths.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
