Construction worker opens fire on villagers in Türkiye, killing and injuring people

There was an armed clash between villagers and construction workers in Artvin province of Türkiye, Report informs, citing the local press.

The incident was reported in the Hopa district. The entry of construction equipment for the forest park project into the area has sparked anger among the villagers. After that, a man named Muhammad Ustabas, who won the tender, opened fire on the villagers killing one person injuring two others.

The injured were hospitalized.
