Armenia: Confirmed COVID-19 cases surpass 34 thousand

As of July 17 in the morning, 34,001 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Armenia. The number of infected in one day has grown by 442, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the country, 22,492  people have recovered, while 10,692 are getting treatment.

The total death toll reached 620, as  13 other patients died with COVID-19.

Yesterday, Armenia reported 33,559 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection and 607 deaths. As part of the fight against COVID-19, the country declared a state of emergency from March 16 to August 12.
