City Council: Russia’s mobile crematoriums operate in Mariupol to conceal murders of civilians

Russian mobile crematoriums have been launched in Ukraine’s Mariupol to hide the crimes committed by the Russian army against the civilian population, Report informs citing UNIAN.

“Traces are being covered. Russian mobile crematoriums have started operating in Mariupol. After the wide international publicity of the genocide in Bucha, the top leadership of the Russian Federation ordered to destroy any evidence of the crimes of its army in Mariupol. A week ago, they were talking about 5,000 killed persons. But given the size of the city, the catastrophic destruction, the duration of the blockade and the fierce resistance, dozens of thousands of Mariupol civilians could have become victims. That is why Russia is in no hurry to give the green light to the Turkish mission and other initiatives to rescue and completely evacuate Mariupol residents. In addition, they are trying to identify all potential witnesses of the atrocities of the invaders through filtration camps and kill them,” the Mariupol City Council wrote on Telegram.

In turn, Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boychenko noted that what happened in Mariupol has been the largest tragedy since the times of the Nazi concentration camps.
