CIS chairmanship passes to Kyrgzystan

The Kyrgyz Republic will chair the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in 2023.
Report informs that the decision was made at the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the organization held on October 14 in Astana, Kazakhstan.
The next summit of the Council of the CIS Heads of State will be held on October 13, 2023, in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
Kazakhstan is currently chairing the CIS.
