Cavusoglu: Ankara will not leave escalation attempts in Cyprus unanswered

Turkiye will take concrete steps in connection with the lifting of the US arms embargo on Greek Cyprus, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, Report informs, citing Anadolu.
"Turkiye will respond with concrete steps to Washington's decision to lift the embargo on arms supplies to Greek Cyprus. If you want an escalation on the island, we will respond properly!" Cavusoglu said.
Earlier in September, the United States lifted the ban on arms supplies to Greek Cyprus, which for the first time since 1987 will be able to receive weapons from the United States without restrictions.
