Cause of fire killing 29 people in Türkiye revealed

The cause of the fire that broke out in a 16-story building in Istanbul, Türkiye on April 2 has been revealed, Report informs citing local press.
According to the information, the pipe exploded during welding while the soundproofing and decor renewal works were being carried out. The explosion caused ignition.
The explosion occurred in a nightclub located in a multi-story building. As a result of the incident, 29 people died and one was injured.
