Businessman murdered in Georgia 

A businessman Vladimir Vakhaniya was murdered in Ganmukhuri village of Zugdidi municipality, Georgia, Report informs.

The businessman was reportedly killed with a cold weapon in his home.

The Georgian Interior Ministry said that the murderer has already been identified. A criminal case was launched on the premeditated murder.

Vakhaniya was mainly engaged in business in Russia. He was arrested in Georgia in 2009 for obstructing journalistic activities, and in 2012 ran as a majoritarian candidate in local elections.
