"Ukraine's attack on facilities in Russia is completely legitimate," British Armed Forces Secretary James Heappey said in an interview with Times Radio, Report informs via UNIAN.
"The point is that Ukraine was a sovereign state living peacefully within its borders. Another country, with 130,000 troops, has decided to violate its borders. This laid the groundwork for the war between Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine must strike at the opponent's logistics lines, fuel reserves, ammunition depots. This is a part of the war," he said.
The UK's defense minister, Ben Wallace, said Britain would not oppose Ukraine's attack on Russia with Western weapons.
