Lukashenko: Belarus will not close borders because of pandemic

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that there is no need to close the state borders of the Republic against the background of a coronavirus pandemic, Report says, citing RT.
"We have identified three corridors where people and shipment still move. And we are not going to close borders, unless it is urgent."
The Belarusian leader noted that it is "not easy and not cheap" for the country.
On December 31, 2019, Chinese authorities announced an outbreak of pneumonia in China's Wuhan, the causative agent of which is a new type of coronavirus officially named COVID-19.
On March 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak of a new coronavirus a pandemic.
