Belarus lowers participation level in Eastern Partnership

Minsk lowers participation to the expert level in the initiative of the EU "Eastern Partnership."
Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei said, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.
"We see that there are attempts to politicize several infrastructure and interregional projects within the framework of this initiative," - Sputnik Belarus quotes the Minister.
The Belarusian authorities also refused to continue the dialogue with Brussels on human rights issues.
"We have never refused to discuss sensitive issues. But today, we see that these issues are absolutely politicized. Therefore, we do not see the point in continuing the dialogue on human rights with the EU."
