Baerbock: Almost 1 billion euros raised to support Ukraine's air defense

Almost 1 billion euros have been raised to support Ukrainian air defense forces within the German initiative ‘Immediate Action on Air Defence’ (IAAD), German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock in Kyiv, Report informs via Ukrainian media.

“Together with Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, we have launched a global initiative to strengthen air defense. Almost 1 billion euros have now been raised to provide additional support to the Ukrainian air defense forces. Intensive work is underway to collect even more,” she noted.

Previously, Germany had already supplied Ukraine with two Patriot air defense systems, and then announced the transfer of a third.
