Battle for Vasilkov ends with victory of Ukrainian Armed Forces

"The assault by the Russian military on Vasilkov, Kyiv region, which lasted all night, ended with the victory of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Report informs, citing UNIAN that the mayor of the city, Natalia Balasinovich, said.

“Now the fighting is coming to an end. We can say that it is already quiet in Vasilkov, and our terrible night has come to an end,” the city mayor said.

According to her, since yesterday, military units and the airfield have been shelled in the city, and troops have landed. The combat vehicles, dispatched from the capital, reached in time, after the battles with the wounded and the dead, Vasilkov was defended.

The fierce battles for the city of Vasilkov, Kyiv region, continued all night.
