Azerbaijani, Turkish, Iranian FMs to meet in Tehran

Tehran will host the next meeting of foreign ministers within the Turkiye-Iran-Azerbaijan trilateral cooperation format, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, Report informs.
The head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry said that the parties want to hold a meeting this year. However, Cavusoglu did not reveal the exact date of the meeting.
Emphasizing the need for joint activities of Turkiye and Iran on the environment, the minister said that experts from the two countries would meet.
Cavusoglu added that Turkiye has deep-rooted and historical ties with Iran, and they intend to expand these ties in all areas and develop them in a way that benefits both countries.
