Armenians deported from Russia spend night at airport

"There is no news yet; we will stay at the airport until our issues are clarified," one of the Armenians deported from Russia said this at the Zvartnos airport, Report informs, citing Armenian media

"We have spent our money and want to go about our business. There is no response from the airport," he said.

Another Armenian who spent the night at the airport said they were asked to wait. "How long can we wait? We are not children to give toys, sit here, play and wait," he said. According to him, the issue must be resolved.

"We demand canceling the deportation decision and restoring the tickets so that we do not have problems there," he added. Russia has deported them due to forged documents.

"We will wait until our issue is resolved. None of us will leave, and we will spend the night here," he stressed.

Several Armenians heading to Russia have been deported to their home country. It is due to the illegalities in COVID-19 tests in Armenia.
