Armenian, Russian FMs discuss transfer of Karabakh minefield maps to Baku

On October 1, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation, Report quotes Sputnik Armenia.

"It was noted that the opening of transport routes and economic ties in the South Caucasus, confidence-building measures between the neighboring countries and the expansion of mutually beneficial economic cooperation will contribute to the stabilization in the region.

They exchanged views on the regional stability and security problems, including the trilateral agreements of November 10, 2020 and January 11, 2021. At the same time, they discussed issues, such as the provision of maps of mined areas, the preservation of cultural heritage sites," the statement said.
