Armenian president's resignation comes into force

Armenian President Armen Sargsyan's resignation has come into force, Report informs.
According to the law "On the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament", the resignation of the President will come into force if he does not withdraw his application within seven days.
The Armenian presidential administration did not say whether the application was withdrawn.
Notably, on January 23, Armen Sargsyan submitted his resignation to the country's parliament.
