Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Joshua Huck, Report informs, citing the press service of the Armenian Prime Minister.
Pashinyan called the Armenia-US relations dynamic and noted the importance of US administration support in implementing institutional reforms in Armenia. He also stressed the need to implement targeted programs in Armenia with US support, including infrastructure improvements.
The prime minister and Joshua Huck touched upon the agreements reached at the high-level Armenia-EU-US meeting held in Brussels in April 2024, and the process of their implementation.
Issues related to the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan were also discussed. In this context, Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that Armenia "is committed to the peace agenda and establishing stability in the region."
