Armenian opposition to hold rally in Yerevan

The Armenian opposition, which held protests demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, is planning a rally in the center of Yerevan on September 30, Report informs via Armenian media.
“On the thirtieth of September at 17:00 (GMT +4), the national committee convenes a rally on Republic Square,” the national committee that coordinates the protests said.
Protests in Yerevan have been taking place since September 19. On Republic Square in the center of Yerevan, protesters demanded Pashinyan's resignation. Periodically, clashes and scuffles between protesters and police occurred. In recent days, the police have begun mass arrests of protest leaders, as well as its participants.
