Former Prime Minister and Defense Minister Vazgen Manukyan may be the sole opposition candidate to replace Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Report informs, citing foreign media.
"Vazgen Manukyan will be the single candidate for the post of Prime Minister of the transitional government of Armenia," said Motherland Party board member Robert Arutunyan.
On October 27, a month after the start of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh, Manukyan called on the government to resign and hand over power to the army.
