Opposition factions "Bright Armenia" and "Prosperous Armenia" in the Armenian parliament have drafted a law on abolishing martial law.
The bill has been submitted to the Legislative Defense and Security Commission, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.
"We propose to abolish the martial law declared on September 27, 2020," said Arman Abovyan, a parliament member from the "Prosperous Armenia" faction.
According to him, the de jure martial law regime in Armenia does not correspond to the country's conditions and hinders the political process.
