Armenian MP: Not buying necessary weaponry from Russia indicates government’s weakness

The fact that Armenia does not buy the necessary weapons from Russia shows the weakness of the government, said Artur Khachatryan, MP of the country's opposition Hayastan faction, Report informs citing Sputnik Armenia.

According to him, Russia has duly fulfilled its obligations over arms supply to Armenia for decades, but not currently.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, stated in an interview with Novaya Gazeta Europe that Armenia is looking for new mechanisms and weapons supplies. According to him, Russia is not handing over the promised weapons to Armenia.
