Armenian MFA talks on opening date of consulate general in Tabriz

Armenia doesn’t yet have information on when the consulate general of the republic will be opened in Tabriz, according to the country’s Foreign Ministry, Report informs referring to Sputnik Armenia.

At the end of April this year, the government approved the decision to open a consulate general in Tabriz. Moreover, the salary of the consul general was approved at $2,565, or approximately 5/6 of the salary of the ambassador in Tehran.

“Preparatory work is currently underway to open the consulate general in Tabriz,” the ministry reported.
