Armenian interior minister to go on maternity leave

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will have to look for a replacement for Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan, as she is going on maternity leave, Report informs via Armenian media.
Sargsyan, who has been married for a long time, is due to give birth to her first child.
She was appointed the Minister of Internal Affairs in November 2024 after the resignation of Vahe Ghazaryan.
Before that, she held the post of deputy minister of internal affairs.
