Armenian Deputy PM avoids answering question about withdrawal from CSTO

Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan avoided answering the question about his country's withdrawal from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Report informs.

To the question "Is Armenia preparing to suspend or freeze its membership in the CSTO," Grigoryan answered: "Such questions should be considered by an official position".

He did not want to answer the question that the issue was recently discussed in the Security Council of Armenia.

As for Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's statement that the West is creating a split in the ranks of the CSTO and that Armenia also played a role in this process, Grigoryan simply confirmed the existence of problems in this regard.

“There are problems and you are well aware of them - we have made it clear. Assess for yourself what consequences this will bring to the organization,” he said.
