Armenian army major arrested

The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia has found out that an officer—with the rank of a major—of a military unit had come to the attention of foreign special services in July 2021, was recruited by them, and signed an agreement on collaboration with them, Report informs via NEWS.am.

A criminal charge has been brought against this officer, and the court has ruled that he be remanded in custody.

The respective criminal investigation continues.
