Armenia is trying to simulate a "humanitarian crisis", over which it appealed to the UN Security Council, seeking the adoption of an anti-Azerbaijani resolution, Russian political scientist, director of the Center for Political Studies Sergey Markov told Report's Russian bureau.
According to him, the decision of the Armenian leadership to appeal to the UN Security Council is "wrong and cunning" and comes from an attempt to "simulate a humanitarian crisis to provoke a more active position of its main allies - the European Union and France."
The expert said Armenia itself obstructs the use of other routes, such as the Aghdam-Khankandi road, for the delivery of goods to the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan.
