Armenia to build modular nuclear power plant, says PM

The Armenian authorities have decided to construct a new Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) using modular technology, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at the Second Global Armenian Summit, Report informs via Armenian media.
The prime minister highlighted that all potential risks should be considered to ensure the new plant does not pose an environmental threat within Armenia or to neighboring countries.
Pashinyan also mentioned that the supplier of the technology has not yet been chosen, “as Armenia is still in talks with its partners.”
