Armenia to apply restrictions for unvaccinated citizens from 2022

Armenia will introduce new restrictions for unvaccinated citizens from January 1, 2022, Health Minister Anahit Hovhannisyan said at a press conference on Monday, Report informs, citing Sputnik-Armenia.
"Unvaccinated citizens will be allowed to enter the catering facilities, and cultural events (concerts, etc.) only provided that they present a negative PCR test result," Hovhannisyan said.
Vaccinated citizens will have to present certificates of full vaccination.
Hovhannisyan added that the respective restrictions might apply to citizens' access to the Haypost offices (postal communication operator).
The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Armenia has risen to 338,120.
