The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has sent a protest note to the Belarusian side, according to Report, which cites the Armenian media.
Ministry's spokesperson, Ani Badalyan, said the protest note was issued in response to a comment made by the spokesperson of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry on June 13.
In a related development, Armenia recalled its ambassador to Belarus, Razmik Khumaryan, to Yerevan for consultations. In a tit-for-tat move, Belarus subsequently withdrew its ambassador from Armenia.
