Armenia seeks extension of EU mission

Armenia supports the expension of the European Union's monitoring mission at the border with Azerbaijan, Secretary of Armenia's Security Council Armen Grigoryan told a briefing on Thursday, Report informs via Sputnik Armenia.
"You know that there are some messages from European capitals that they want to extend [the mission], and if the EU makes such a decision, Armenia will welcome it," he said.
At a session in Luxembourg on October 17, the EU foreign ministers officially approved sending 40 observers to Armenia with the aim of monitoring, analyzing and compiling reports on the situation in the region.
