The Armenian government has approved a loan agreement signed with the French Development Agency, under which the country will receive a loan of €75 million, Armenian Finance Minister Vage Hovhannisyan said during a government meeting.
According to Report, which cites the Armenian media, the program consists of three main components: improving the public finance management system, strengthening the foundation for issuing and managing government securities and money market infrastructure, and developing new tools for financing entrepreneurial activities and ensuring more transparent management.
According to Hovhannisyan, the mentioned components include reform directions such as increasing the efficiency of budget planning, risk management, developing green economy policies, and expanding the use of green financial instruments.
