Armenia’s Investigative Committee: Conscript soldier dies in one of military units

Conscript soldier David Nersisyan has died in Armenia, according to the country’s Investigative Committee, Report informs referring to Armenian media.

The incident occurred at around 09:40 am in one of the military units of Sisian: the condition of the soldier deteriorated sharply, he lost consciousness. He was urgently hospitalized, but was confirmed dead at 10:00 am.

A criminal case has been opened into the death. During an external examination, no traces of violence were found on the soldier’s body. A number of examinations have been ordered to determine the cause of death. Investigators questioned a group of people, the preliminary investigation continues.
