Armenia's COVID-19 cases surpass 61 thousand

Armenia confirmed 1,465 new coronavirus cases, bringing the nationwide case tally to 61,460, Report says, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health.
The death toll reached 1,046 as seven fell victims to the virus. So far, 47,571 people have recovered from the infection.
There are currently 13,319 active COVID-19 patients in Armenia.
Armenia announced 1,371 infections and seven deaths yesterday.
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
